Summer Time ‘08

Hi everyone,
How is it going? Hope you’re all enjoying your Summer whichever side of the world you are right now. Our Summer here is very hot and humid so we’re always staying inside the house most of the times which is more cooler because we have our air conditioner turned-on all day & night continuously that’s why our electric bill is also too high for the last 3 months now but we couldn’t help it, it’s better than to put up with the hot temperature.
Anyway, nothing much going on around here with us. My husband went with his son (my step-son) on a trip to Chattanooga last week for 2 days/2 nights so that He could get out of the house (He’s been staying home ever since He got really sick for 1-1/2 years now so He gets so bored of staying home & cannot do anything so I let him go even though I was worried about his health condition because He has to take two kinds of insulin shots (4-times a day) and lots of medications for his health problem that’s what it worries me when I’m not with him because I’m the one who give him the insulin shots and his medicines so I had to tell my step-son to keep an eye on his Dad and I kept calling on his cellphone to check on how he was doing there. Thank God! He came home safe but his blood sugar was too high when He got home so I told him there will be no more going on the trucking trip for awhile unless he is in really good health or we (our daughter & I) are with him but he said he enjoyed his getaway trip though .
Our daughter, Carla is fixing to go back to school this coming August 6, 2008. She will be in 7th Grade (Middle School) already. Oh my! our daughter is growing up so fast, it won’t be long she’ll be in High School then she will be grown up before we know it [though she's a big girl now, she's still our baby ] but anyways going back to the topic, She’s excited about going back to school although she seems like she’s still enjoying her summer vacation which I don’t blame her at all I’d rather play all day too than going back to school myself hehehe .  I’ll just make this entry short because we’re going out today to buy her school clothes and stuff to get it all ready than to wait for the last minute. I don’t know why their school starts so early this year so until here…. so long! Enjoy the rest of Summer y’all!!!

Introduction

Hello Everyone and Welcome to my new Blog!
I’ve been looking for a really good blog site to do my blogging for a long time and hopefully this will be the answer so that I don’t have to look anymore . I have one in Yahoo 360 but tired of errors all the time so I quit blogging there, I also got a Friendster Blog but just don’t like the way some of their features especially when putting pictures/images in a Blog post. Oh well, we can’t have everything we want I guess or maybe it just me, who don’t know how to use it hehehe .
Anyways, I will be using this site to chronicle some of the highlights and lowlights of my life… or use as my personal journal online. I’m not exactly very good at blogging and I’m a ‘lil private person but I’ll try my best so please bear with me.
Since this is my first entry here I’d like to introduce myself, My name is Belle K., I just turned 40 year-old last month (June 22 to be exact). I’m a Filipina married to a wonderful American husband for 14 1/2 years & a loving Mom to a sweet 12-year old girl, been residing here in the States for almost 14 years now. I’ve been a stay-at-home Mom since my daughter’s birth and now that she’s a ‘lil older I’m giving a serious consideration of going back to work pretty soon so that’s one of the topics I’m going to blog here… and as you can tell I’m excited about this blogging already .
